I have it, don't see any benefits not sure if there are any gains, will find out when I dyno this month if there's any (i doubt it).
Going to sell it and just stick with a AFE Pro Dry drop-in filter

Sound= u barely hear it

The few times is when you press throttle 50-75% quick and let off, otherwise 0 sound.

Yea good thing I didn't spend $200 either, neighbor had it on his F10 535 and traded car in so I was trying it out before I decided to buy it or not

Definitely not, M40 already comes with a Sport Exhaust tuned from factory I'd be silly to touch the exhaust. Want it louder? Get Downpipes and you can control from the sound in driving modes

Allow me an unrelated question: Do you feel a lot of difference in the different modes (Econo, Comfort, Sport and Sport+) when it comes to the "Chassis" only? The difference in engine response is significant, but for the life of me, I don't feel any difference in the suspension between the modes. Yes, I am aware of the Drivetrain and Chassis options selectable in iDrive. Anyone?

Have you heard a M40i with the resonator deleted? I just picked up my M40i a few days ago and contemplating removing the resonator, but hesitant as I do not want any drone or rasp.
