Near Philadelphia and looking for a winter set up?
I am getting ready to buy a winter set up from a local shop (possibly) and figured if I could get 3-4 others to buy at the same time we could all get a deal. Anyone near Philly interested?

Originally from Philly (Oxford Circle area)! But not local anymore and already have my winter set ready.
Maybe tell the shop that you'll spread the word here on this large forum about their good price and service if they do right by you on a discount? |

Let me know what your thinking and price range. Not sure if I am going to go cheap or go for BBS, etc... |

Not sure what cheap means to you, but I was looking to spend $2,000 - $2,400. Although if I could find a set up for less I would be all ears. I'm debating if I really need to spend $225 for TPMS for a set up that will only be on the car for 3 months, not worried and a little light on the dash.
What were you thinking of spending? |

I was thinking between 2 - 3K. That seems to be the norm.
I think you might be able to get between 5 - 10 people based on the thread. If you can reach out to you're contact at the local shop and see what kind of discount you can obtain - I am sure people would sign up if the numbers (%) are right. Any other additional detail would help - tires, 19s?, brands, etc. or if that even matters to obtain the discount. |

They sell all the major tire brands, I just didn't feel like paying for Blizzak's.I had them quote out a set of 20" Niche Wheels and Pirelli tires with TPMS. We could go to Tire Rack but the issue I have there is; I would prefer to go to a shop where I can look at a bunch of wheels on display vs ordering from somewhere and not being thrilled with the product once it arrives, then I'm stuck with it. To me its worth an hour of my time to go to their store.
http://www.nicheroadwheels.com/sport-series-c-1772.htm They will order wheels, tires, mount and balance and install if needed. I spoke to him today and he mentioned if we could get 5+ (paying customers vs tire kickers, lol) he would be able to work with all of us. Not sure of next steps at this point. Based on the fact it's almost October, I would like to get orders placed by the end of October. If all of you are serious I can follow up with him tomorrow and ask how he would like us to reach out to him individually (as it would be too much to coordinate all together, I think). Check out the Niche wheel link and let me know your thoughts. They sell all the major tire brands, I just didn't feel like paying for Blizzak's. Last edited by Viper450; 09-19-2018 at 07:47 PM..
