Does anyone know if we can code these cars in a similar way to what I was used to in the F80? Like euro MDM and some of the other features that are "locked away" via ODB?

Anyone local who still does this?

Bimmercode changes certain features but is not as involved as eSys. You can check their site for a list of available options.

You basically use the app on your phone with a lightning to Ethernet cable and a ODB2 dongle with an Ethernet port.

Pull up the options and make changes.

There isn’t a great deal to change but I like it and am happy with the $30 cost (plus cables).

The coolest thing is you can change the top and bottom ambient lighting. I changed to the ///M colors.

Thank you! No I did not order this one. This was dealer inventory, last Black/Red Comp in my area I believe.

Dropping her off next Thursday for a thorough detail & Ceramic Coating.

I will be coating the exterior, wheels, calipers & front two seats to avoid staining as I wear jeans basically every day. Will post updates when its all done!!
