Best Scan Tool?

Hi all,

I did a search but did not come up with anything definitive. I saw some post regarding the Foxwell scan tool. What other ones are out there worth considering that are compatible with a pre LCI X3 35i.

Great thanks BIG KID. Is this able to reset any of the adaptations as well, like when changing the transfer case oil for example.

I bought it for that exact reason (and battery registration) figured if I spent 150$ at the dealer to reset the battery the scanner would pay for itself the very first time I used it. You will need to finish setting up the scanner when you receive it. I had a buddy help do this cuz I'm not very computer savvy.

I used on my 2007 BMW 335i the Barvian Technic software and cable from Berger tuning and it was ok but not sure if the new stuff is better like the foxwell one listed here
