My 3 week old 2020 X3 M40 must have a bug. Twice today the navigation screen just goes black. I hit the menu button and it reappears. I hope this isn't a sign. Has this happened to anybody else?
My boss has a 2020 M340ix that has been in the shop for 5 days because the Idrive 7 doesn't work. Im beginning to get bad feelings about my purchase. Its so darn fun though.

I wouldnt worry too much unless it continues. A couple weeks ago my screen and entire system shut down twice within about a 20min period . Each time it rebooted and came back. I think this has to do with updates because in the almost 2 years I have had my m40i the system has shut down a few times and rebooted by itself. If it was a problem this would happen all the time. I would just monitor the situation. Be more concerned if it doesnt come back like on land rovers hahah .

Check your gesture control. I set up one of my custom gestures to shut off screen. Once in a while I do by accident. *blush*

My 2020 also did this one time Idrive7 & radio all dark next day it worked fine 🤪 still very dim at times during the day 😡
