Error code 4809AB : DSC Under-voltage power supply Global

Hello,

I'm enjoying my new X4 M40i and did a diagnostic scan with Carly (very nice app), it appeared the code 4809AB that means DSC Under-voltage power supply Global.

But nothing shown in the dashboard and the car DSC seams to work correctly. I don't want to bring the car to the local dealer right now (they are not good at all, steal parts etc...) and prefer to have your opinion before that.

I deleted the error code but it came back.

Anyone has experienced this and know the problem it could be ?

I wonder whether this error code was caused by your car having the battery disconnected for an extended period of time while it was being shipped to you in that container?

I think I would continue to drive the car and check for that code again in a month.

If you're scanning with the engine off, that might explain the under voltage condition. Clear the codes and scan with the engine running and see if it makes a difference.

Same thing... I will fully charge the battery with my CTEK charger and let you know

Why don't you take it to dealership?

I just dropped mine to dealer for the same; saw it on my iSTA+ but no codes or lights
