What are you talking about? There was no 2019 X3M, this is the first-ever X3M and 2020 is the first model year.

The 2019 X3 M-Sport looked different, of course, as does the 2020 X3 M-Sport, they did not change that one.

One little thing... there is NO such thing as the ECU "opening up" after 1,200 miles.

The only thing the break-in service does is allow the ability to use LC.

The power you have now, is the same power you'll have at 59,000 miles.

This has been proven 1,000 times over.

I don't think my wife will ever sell her M2, but if she does.. I'd be very happy to see an X3M in the garage.
Ok, I thought the dealer said something is unlocked after the first service. Maybe I misheard, but it doesn’t really matter as I’m my own nanny for now. As soon as I start to get a big grin going I look at the speedo or tach and come off the pedal.

Stealing the old Bentley rating - power seems adequate!

M Rims

These M Rims pictured here would've been way cooler looking for the X3M & X4M then what was chosen.

Nice write up OP and nice car.

The styling of the X3M is not that aggressive looking to compliment a flashy color. The styling is more classy and better suited for colors that compliment a sporty SUV.

In 2014 I wanted to order the all new MK7 Golf R in Black with a 6 speed and sunroof.

The first 5000 cars produced were all blue and DSG; a sunroof was not available at all. Now VW gives you an extensive list of color options for the Golf R; still no sunroof.

Again the X3M sounds like a awesome vehicle and looks great in Donington Grey.

Those look like the ones for the M8. You're asking for a lot if you want those rims on an X3M...

I dunno. After having owned several, had sworn off grey cars and moved to white for my last two. That is until I saw Donington. I found THAT particular Grey to be anything but boring. Some say it looks better in RL than in the photos. I have yet to see it in person, but if I already like it on my screen, I can only imagine I'll love it even more once in right in front of my eyes.

Nice writeup. Now I'm even more excited about taking delivery of my Donnington grey X3M And I'm glad I didn't choose the ventilated seats, as I live in Sweden anyway and the weather is quite cold.

From what I remember in my parents last gen x5 the seats just sort of help not getting swack (sweaty back). They won't keep you cool like cooled seats.

Not sure it's worth $150...
same price heated steering wheel is a much better option (when it could be ordered alone).

M town-
I drove the x3m competition; I own an x3m40i
The x3m has a high level interior. In the x3m once it gets moving, the acceleration is SECOND to none- the only fly in the ointment major lag on first tip in

How does the suspension compare between the two cars M40i much sloppier/softer?

I test drove on Saturday mtown and Concur on the initial acceleration. I found the ride a bit stiff for my taste and. IMO I can't justify the extra 20k to 25k over an m40i.

Afterwards I drove a 2017 F85 and really enjoyed that beast. I am strongly considering going that option.

a nicely loaded X3 M40i runs about $66k, a bone stock X3M runs about 70k ... I'll gladly spend 4K for the ///M

Yeah loaded with similar options there is about a $15k difference, was on the 3 series too.

$15k buys you a lot though. 150hp just for starters, but everything is upgraded. Seats being a big one and leather quality. Suspension, exhaust, exterior even if it's not a whole lot.

Lots of people have always said the same about a 335/340 vs M3
