I just picked up the bayoptiks as well. what won't operate correctly? if i de-pin and move around the wires will it work properly? or will the amber portion always turn on with the brakes applied?

I haven’t moved pins around as they won’t work if I follow that video on YouTube. Our US spec cars have 3 wires on the outside combines one wire with signal and brake, while the euro spec has 4 separating the two. The inners will signal when you press the brakes, and the sequential portion does not light up on the outer.

I just unplugged a ground on the inner taillights disabling the amber sequential which I can live long term with.

Here’s how it will look from now on when I brake or signal

The installation as stated in a previous post, the harnesses are the same, but each harness you have to de-pin and move around a few wires to work properly. Tried the same cheaper alternative and found the quality to be subpar and not illuminate the same color as OEM, ended up returning them and getting the real deal . Glad you are happy with them

well its a little late now and bayoptiks doesnt accept returns...so stuck with them
