What does this symbol mean?
I hadn't noticed this until this week. Does anyone know what the symbol in the upper left corner is trying to tell me? Just got it back from the dealer and they had worked on the visor on the driver's side. Related?

If they upgraded the software, there may have been some minor changes so you might be right and it wasn't there before. I noticed some changes after my iDrive software was upgraded but couldn't put my finger on exactly what had changed, just that it looked different, or the name of the menu had changed

That is your trip odometer. If you are going on a trip you can reset it by using the reset button to see how many miles you have gone, the time you been traveling, miles per gal and so on.
