Looking for a visual on size relative to the OG suv coupe beast X6M. Also, looking for GVWR? Is it 6001 (for vehicle depreciation benefits)?

Thanks for the pics Jay! My dealer in Albany, NY also received his on Monday (same colors and options spec'd by BMW) and I drove it Tuesday night. For whatever reason, I had a much better experience with this X4M than I did with the X3M at the M Town event. Could be because I currently have (and love) an X4 M40i, or because I was familiar with the location and roads etc., but this car was great.

My current lease isn't up until December, but it's a good thing I drove it when I did, because my dealer sold it the next morning!

Spare tires on all X4s are mounted differently than X3s. I'm not sure why, but it may because the X4's slightly wider rear track allows the spare to be mounted lower and more flush. With the spare installed, the X4's floor is slightly lower than the lip (rather than considerably higher as with the X3).

Yep. This shape works on the X6M, but not on the X4M.

It's an acquired taste.

How that rear badge looks like it was applied while the car was moving.

yikes contrasting gray exterior and seats with orange/red insert, not a good combo.

I have never been a fan of these SUV-Coupes but i kind of like the X4. Those rear lights that the 3 series also has look good on it. I like it.

thanks for pointing this out...

So the X4 the trunk actually allows for the spare better than the X3. I am disappointed that the X3, which actually is more useful with regards to storage capacity, appears to end up with a lower liftover height and cargo floor only when ordered without the spare. it's nice and pretty how the spare is covered in both models, however the X3 thread shows that one does lose several inches of load height. I would prefer to avoid runflats,.... while keeping all available height for cargo. i think i would just prefer the lower load floor and will use the rails to hold a spare. I can take the spare in and out....

The rear tires are farther apart on the X4 giving it a wider track (stance) compared to the X3.

So there is more floor space for the spare tire on the X4.

While the X4 has a 1.2" wider rear track than the X3, both the X3 M and X4 M are listed at 63.9" front and 63.1" rear.
