Yes, coming next version of BimmerCode. Also I’ve expert mode - see my previous post: https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showt...3#post25800823

On my X2 there was a coding you could do that would permanently remember the setting of your seat heating, everytime you start the car.

Do you know if you can do that on the X3? I couldn't find that on Bimmercode's manual
You can try to set a very high temperature for the automatic startup in iDrive. Didn't try it myself, so don't know what the range is. Haven't been looking for that option in BC.

Thanks a lot man i appreciate it. I'm gonna wait look for it when i get a chance. After looking at the link you shared i saw someone mentioned shutting off the loud ass horn when you lock the car when you walk away. That's a must do for me.

Now when in which category do i go into to start the expert mode? (Sorry, NooB here lol)

Gotcha. I tried to make it clear in original post, but, if you're not familiar, then I can see the not understanding. Breaking down:

# Fog lights on with parking lights
Body Domain Controller (BDC): NSW_EIN_AUF_LDS_STL nict_active --> active

"Body Domain Controller" aka BDC is the module in Bimmercode (BDCXXXX in eSys).

"NSW_EIN_AUF_LDS_STL" is the FDL code, or the function to change.

"nict_active --> active" by default, value is "nict_active", this needs to change to "active"

I've done lots of car coding in the past. The abbreviated German language makes this stuff extra difficult for the non-German speaker (me).

Did anyone figure out code to enable closing liftgate with fob?

I use e-sys for coding.

I have a 2019 X3, and would appreciate if someone could post a working code.

Yep, it can be done.

Have a look at the coding features in the app Kev.

It's under 'tailgate' in the bimmercode app https://bimmercode.app/cars/g01/

Nice. Thanks.

I think we really need an E-Sys G01 FLD cheat sheet. I use Launcher Pro and the "integrated" cheat sheets are just so frustrating to use -- and many times inaccurate.

I'm longing for the old-school days (circa 2015) when people collected all the known-working codes into very cool lists of possible coding changes.

Looks like to get the X3M cluster you have to have DKOMBI4. Before the X3M came out, the X3s came with DKOMBI2. Is that an actual hardware upgrade or is that just software. If software, how does one update that? Dealership?

The original x3ms didn’t have dkombi4 - that’s the live cockpit hardware with the backwards tacho.

There should be a way to figure out how to get it on m40s with dkombi2, just nobody has figured out the settings yet.

We need someone with an x3m to see their settings, or share a VIN so we can calculate in esys and toeknmasters diff tool

How much will this influence the battery? Any ideas?

You can do this from the factory. Just hold down the button when it's open and let go once it's all the way down

Is your G01 a US version? I saw other people also looking for this feature so I think it is disabled OOB. At least for the US market.
