My X3 hybrid has high pitch screeching sound when breaking since day 1 (brand new). Everyone tells me the break is "breaking in" and will get better after a while. It's been 3 years and the sound has always been there and getting a bit worse. Took it to the dealership couple of times and they told me it's the "ceramic breaking system". Checked other forums says some Mercedez & BMW are like that... What do you guys think. Should I take it to a different car shop or it is actually common. Still it's kinda annoying & I don't hear other bmw making such sound.
