Flashy website for sure but I tried both versions of my VIN: last 7 and full, and it said it was incorrect! No it isn't!

Again, these are the items I'm trying to code;
1. Disabling the welcome gong(s).
2. Disabling the seat-belt alerts/gong(s).
3. Enabling the Cruise "active" by default whenever the car is started.

2016 F25
Can you elaborate on how it fails? Did you get any error messages?

ACSM for the first two.

I have never seen #3. How would that work? You start car and it automatically begins to move and reach target speed?

Does exactly the same for me.... I even went and checked the VIN in case I was typing it wrong...

That'd be sure to create a lot of insurance claims....

I may be wrong, I often am, but I interpreted #3 as cruise being activated in the 'ready to set speed' mode rather than the 'resume speed' mode - but I've never seen anything that indicates it's possible

Just checked it again, VIN is recognised now, must've been an out of hours issue.

Hi all, I am wondering if anyone has ever looked in the making the FCW more sensitive, giving earlier visual and audible warning time. I'm also wondering if there is a way to make the steering wheel vibrate for FCW as it does when LDW kicks in. Thanks in advance.

I have only looked into disabling. Personally, I have mine set at medium or late warning because I find early too sensitive. I also disabled LDW, but like blind spot detection.

I liked the idea and found the website pretty user friendly. But I did not find any option of interest, particularly the Full Dynamic LED headlight enable. Options listed on the website seem very basic and did not seem worth the trouble.

That is because NGHB is not an idrive code.

On some coding posts it says to set the "werte" and others don't mention to set the "werte" (value) for the same coding function.

Example:
one post says for Close Trunk/Tailgate through button on FOB, code:
HKFM 3010 SCH_TOEHKI aktiv/werte=01
HKFM 3010 TASTER_FBD aktiv/werte=01

Another says just to do:
HKFM 3010 SCH_TOEHKI aktiv
HKFM 3010 TASTER_FBD aktiv

Which is correct? On some coding I've forgotten to code the werte, but the option worked!

Is the value just 00 for off and 01 for on!

Werte values are all that ultimately matters, but you can either change drop-downs or wertes. It is also not universal for values (eg 00 for nicht_aktiv).

Hi Guys,

I have managed to code single touch closing of the door wing mirrors, and also ebt with office enabled etc.

Thanks for providing the software and importantly the 'How to' documents. Great work

Cheers,

Andy

Blind Spot Detection in HUD?

Can Blind Spot Detection (weak orange triangle light on external mirrors) be made to show up in HUD? 2017 F26.

I wonder if one of the coding gurus such as Shawn or Almaretto could offer a little advice here...

We've just got our Dec 2016 F25 30d back from the dealers who had to replace a module due to an airbag light staying on

Before they had it in we could open the tailgate from the fob when the doors were locked - i.e. press the tailgate open button, all doors unlock and the tailgate opens - now we can't do this, we have to unlock the doors first and then press the tailgate open button

I've had a hunt but most of the coding posts deal with shutting the tailgate via the fob. I've checked the HKFM_LS Module and
3010SCH_FBD is set to aktiv
3010SCH_TOEHKI is set to aktiv
3010TASTER_FBD is set to aktiv

Thanks

Perry

Unless I missed appropriate FDL's, you would need separate hardware for desired function. Lane departure warning, yes; but, not blind spot detection can be done with CAFD_00000069.

Never heard of such an issue. Even the newer modules and firmware no longer require waiting for functionality to take affect. There are some parameters for deciding when trunk can be opened, but usually they are not restrictive from factory settings.

Thanks - it does seem a little odd, I know it's nothing to do with the keyfob because it can open tailgate OK as long as the doors are unlocked first.

I think the dealer must have done something when they coded the new airbag & telematics modules to the car
