Would you happen to know the steps required to do a region change? I have my fsc code but am not sure what to change in Esys. I assume only Changing the country value under navigation is not correct.

Region Change from what region to what region?

What Head Unit?

What FSC Code do you have?

Region Change in EVO, particularly from non-Asia to Asian Spec is quite difficult. It cant simply be done by coding it.

You need 6F FSC Code before it can be coded.

CAS coding inaccessible

My F25 (2013/X3) seems unable to code auto stop/start due to an issue with the CAS module.

At least, I get "Error while reading coding data" in Bimmercode, which the dev says is "coding data signature is off for some reason."

Using Carista I can see:
Car access system (CAS)
Bootloader: 0000074B
CAFD: 0000000F (5.24.233)
Date when last coded: 2099-99-99
Odometer when last coded: 0 km / 0 mi
[No fault codes]

Odd, but it is not the only module with that bogus date, also Power Steering and Fuel Pump have 2099.

So... any chance I would be able to overcome this using Esys or another coding app? Any other ideas on how to resolve this "coding data signature" error? Should I back out my NAV/FSC hack or MX/TX update?

Note: I fixed this by E-Sys recoding the CAS ECU with next istep CAFD file, in case anyone else has this issue.

Can someone please figure out how you can code the steering wheel to start in sport mode always. It's much better feel and should have been like that stock.

Not with any coding that I have seen. You want to enable it after pulling out of parking spot and disable when parking.

Yes that's the idea.
I had this feature in an other car, which is sold in the meantime.
(it was not a BMW).

Is there anyone who can provide the link to coding software?
Would be highly appreciated.

That is the way Volvo's behave and I end up disabling each time on start until ready to use.
