I found the stealth hitch to be an even better solution for me. In my opinion, it is much more attractive (no receiver square hole or cover on my tail), and it actually has a higher tow rating than my factory hitch did on my M40i. Also, their direct connection without a receiver makes for a very solid trailer connection with absolutely zero horizontal play unlike when I towed with my M40i and used a receiver with a pin which always introduced a little bit of play. Anyway, I'm a very happy customer with this solution.

No problem, but I doubt you'd need it.. Their color step by step instructions included in the kit are quite good, but let me know if you need clarification on anything.

Although it may not be the best sounding 6 cylinder on the market, the general consensus is that it does indeed sound better then the S55.

Comp exhaust sounds quite good and noticeably better than base exhaust. Slightly louder but still not obnoxious.

It does to me. Granted I didn't cheap out and have the Comp. I notice some of those who don't get the Comp end up spending money to make their lower rung models look like...The Comp

It did that before for the 2020 model. I bet you can't get both packages.

That's not saying much because scraping your nails on a blackboard sounded better than the S55.

When I use to play with the 2020 version, it would only delete the pano roof not the whole package.

I am in Canada, but pretty sure that the US configuration is telling what to expect from model year 2021 here in Canada as well. I was hoping for at least some new features being available, as even a fully-loaded X3M is missing a lot of technology updates from other models.

Does the new iDrive 7 and Live Cockpit Pro mean that the "Hey BMW" voice commanding is now supported? That is actually something I am looking to have, as to my experience it works well.

Another feature I have been hoping for is BMW Drive Recorder to replace a need for a dash cam, but I wonder if that will be available with iDrive 7? It is pretty incredible that such systems are not available across all models in year 2020.

Finally, I was really hoping for some new color options, as I do find the only two colors Phytonic Blue and Toronto Red fairly unexciting tones. I guess new colors won't available before proper life-cycle update.

I just had a 2020 X3 M40i as a loaner while having my 1,200 mile break-in service performed on Friday.

It was equipped with iD7 and had "Hey BMW" feature. iD7 was a "stripped" version from what you find in the other 5, and 8 models. No remote start and I'm sure it didn't have drive recorder, although, I didn't check.

Assuming this is what the 2021 F9X will be equipped with.

The front seat backs are now color matching to the leather instead of black color. Something about the dash stitching / material also looks different. I'm not sure which seat back looks better, 202 Vs 2021.

Good eye. I much prefer the black plastic on back of the seats. It was one of the reasons why I chose the red interior. Just the right amount of red mixed in with black. I originally looked at M40i with the red interior and didn’t like that the rear of the seats were red. Just too much red in my opinion.
