"I've also noticed that it sometimes shuts the engine off when I'm creeping in very slow traffic (1-5 mph), only to restart almost immediately, which is a bit jarring."
<<<<<< My previous XC60 has a better design on this. If the vehicle's speed has not reached a speed of approx. 5 mph (8 km/h) after the most recent auto-start or after the driver has started the engine, the engine stop/start will not operate. |

Speculating a little, either the dealer's order entry people didn't get it right or you don't actually have an order for an MY19. One of the things BMW enthusiasts really have to do is stay on top of the order, making sure that you only ever trust output from the BMW order entry system.

My order for a MY19 also on the “my garage” website correctly lists all my choices and also list the sport leather steering wheel as a standard feature.

He's referring to this Vehicle Inquiry Report clearly referencing each option. Now before any of you 2019 buyers have a heart attack bc you don't see the 710 Wheel noted, this was my previous 2018 build

Hello,
I just ordered my 2019 M40i, loaded. The type of steering wheel shows up in the 2019 X3 pricing guide, under standard equipment. The M40i's will have the 710 wheel. |

Vehicle inquiry report will never show the type of steering wheel if it’s a standard feature on the car that is not changeable. It’ll only show up if it’s a configurable option (like no cost wood trim type) or as part of an option that is configured via a package that is selected (m sport). In this case, 710 is a standard feature of the M40i and wouldn’t show up.

I have the vehicle inquiry report for my 2019 M40i order and while it lists some N/C (no charge) features, it doesn't say anything about the steering wheel other than listing heated steering wheel under premium package. All the other info I have seen about 2019 indicates we'll be getting the 710 wheel, and we sure better!!! That lame sport wheel was a turnoff when I test drove a 2018.

2019 X3 list of updates
710 steering wheel is standard on M40i and 255 was a no cost option on the US 2018 models (even though you had no choice) which is probably why it shows up
Have a look at MDecoder, 255 is on the options list, if you can find vin of a car with M Sport wheel it will be under the standard equipment list |

There are multiple types of "Vehicle Reports", and you want the one that shows the wholesale pricing (as shown by Kief), if you can get your dealer to give it to you. The one without the wholesale pricing doesn't list many of the standard options, like 710.

I have the vehicle inquiry report with wholesale pricing and it doesn't show anything about what type of steering wheel. Well except for 248 Heated Steering Wheel included with ZPP.

All of this is in the 2019 pricing guide (sticky) at the top of this forum. Edit: just as a side note, ZPX is expensive, but it's really nice. |

I got the vehicle report from the dealer! Anyone know if this could be 2019 production?
