F25 oil filter
Just about to do an oil change on my F25 30d and Mini Paceman 2.0d all4 and got the oil filter from Euro car parts. I got a Bosch filter for the Mini and a Mann for the X3 which was about £10.00 dearer. When I got home I looked at the two boxes closely and noticed that they were the same size. I then decided to take them both out and compare it side by side to see if there were any differences. To my surprise both were identical. So I guess I wasted my money buying a expensive Mann oil filter when I could have just bought a mini 2.0 d filter and used that.

BTW, the same filter is used on the US 3.0 Liter BMW diesels. Here the Mahle version is available from Amazon for about $18, but there are cheaper brands for less. Since many look the same, not sure what's gained by getting the OE ones from a BMW dealer.
