X4 M40i fuel consumption
At the end of my X4 3D lease soon (enjoyed every second of it till now) and so considering a nice X4 M40i (actually it is all sorted out, just need to order ).
I know fuel consumption is not as economic as the 3D, so I am assuming around 12l/100km. How wrong or correct is this? Very curious to get feedback.... |

23.2 mpg here (calculated at fill up, .8 mpg better than BMW calculator) 50/50 city/hwy mix. Comfort mode, 13,000 miles on the clock, on Haaka RF winter tires.

You are in the right ballpark. I expekt only slightly higher consumption compared to 35i.
My 35i has an average at 10.2/100, but I have two cars, and my 9000 Turbo used for short "dirty" trips. Your right foot will ultimately decide. |

Thanks all for the useful feedback. Seems not so bad after all.
Have an appointment for a test drive soon, the offer I already have in hand, but I never sign before I have done a test drive. Was a bit worried about fuel consumption, but that's sorted out too..... Will very likely order my M40i very soon..... and then the waiting begins ..... grrrr
