Seems like a good deal... Might not be if it already has some decent mileage on it. I stay away from cars with a lot of test drive miles on them- you know they've been redlined like every test drive... Probably on a cold engine during the break-in period!

The car we took has only 44 miles, not too much.

Pulled the trigger on a custom build. 2019 X3 M40i. MSRP $65,930.00.
NOT including tax, but including everything else: $57,970.00. Thoughts?
Buying, not leasing.

Complete Newbie Pricing Question

My wife and I decided to purchase a 2019 X3 x30i. We would like to build one as the options we are looking for do not seem to be available on local dealer lots. A few questions and I apologize if these are obvious to long time members:

1. Are dealers still taking orders for 2019 models?
2. What is considered end of month for BMW?
3. On a factory order, what % off MSRP is considered a good deal?

Thanks for indulging us!

I ordered my car last November, and here is the best info I've got..

1. Not certain, I thought I read they were not but I could be wrong.
2. In my experience, the "end of month" has always been the actual end of month.
3. I was able to get about 15 percent off MSRP but it was actual year end pricing and required some additional competition and a little luck.

Good luck!

For June's BMW policy, If you can get the car around $53K to 54K, should be decent price.

Anyone know if BMWFS offers 48 month leases? All I've seen talked about are 36 months, but I want to lease for the duration of the factory warranty.

You are figuring net of incentives? Some posting here aren't clear whether their negotiated deal is net of incentives.

For most higher production models, where the dealer wants to keep them moving, I go for 11% off MSRP then subtract out incentives. Near end of year that is typically attainable.

Yes, for example, current programs 7500 mile lease is 1 point residual higher than 10K.

This is the X3 M40i offer I received from BMW of Delray Beach. I was able to take off another 1k and replace the installed 19 wheels to black 695.

Hi bimmers, I'm about to place an order on 2019 X3, MSRP 54k with financing.
Problem is - I live in Seattle and it looks like a terrible market. I've visited both Seattle and Bellevue stores and the discounts were tiny (<1k) with a rebate of 3k-4k. And the sales were all really busy during the day.
Any advice? Will the third and the last - NW store be slightly better?
Does anyone have a sales recommendation in WA? can you PM me if possible? much appreciated!
Or maybe I should consider ordering from an out of state dealer?

Try Portland. Kuni is the high volume dealer there, and Brady Lane is a good contact there.

Make sure they all know they're competing for your business and you want the best price. Portland too, and don't forget Spokane. Can you avoid any of the sales tax if you buy in Orygun?

You can't avoid sales tax by going to Portland.

Leave Western WA or the state entirely to buy unless you don't mind near MSRP prices. There are no deals to be had here at any of the 3 dealerships although Northwest BMW can be slightly better than Seattle/Bellevue. It's a dealers market here and it sucks. I bought two Audis in Portland area and recently ordered an M340i from BMW Portland. They like stealing from Seattle.
