Do any UK folks know the rough timescales I'm now looking at for delivery? The system is saying 30/7/19 which sounds about right.... |

No idea - I'm about to order too. Do you happen to know if your car is coming with iDrive 7 and Live View dash? I've read August cars, I've read September cars. Online config seems to be updated to show it. Wondering if I should wait, or if anything in build now has it?

As of last week the configurator on the BMW site was showing live cockpit for all X3's. AIUI as long as your dealer is showing you a spec that says "Live Cockpit" you will get iDrive 7 (if it says Digital Dash it's iDrive 6). But always worth getting your dealer to confirm 100% and make it a sale condition... Last edited by iaincb; 06-11-2019 at 06:24 AM.. Reason: added some coherence to my random word structure |

So I am lucky enough to take advantage of the military program here in Italy and they are offering 10k off the 2019 X3 3.0 xdrive with m sport package, convenience package, premium package and 20" wheels for a total of $45,000. Is that a good deal?

NO keyless entry in 2019 bmw x3
I just purchased a used 2019 x3 and it is not equipped with keyless entry. I honesty knew that this came standard with most luxury vehicles so I was not checking for it.
I currently have to find my key and unlock it with the fob each time i want to get into the vehicle. This makes no sense!! Am I just over reacting? |

I made sure Comfort Access was standard equipment on my M40i and it is, but not on the 30i. With that said I was pissed when I found that I don't have Remote Services from my phone because I did not order Navigation. ---Bill. |

May as well toss my progress in, since I can't do anything with my X3 yet.
Just last week received an email from BMW Performance Center Delivery. My X3 M40i will be entering production this coming week in preparation for pickup on July 29th from the Performance Center in South Carolina. My son and I will be spending the day (my birthday) experiencing BMWs on and off road, and touring the manufacturing facility before taking delivery and starting our week long trek back home. I'm pretty excited for the experience, and, of course, excited to take delivery of my vehicle. Will be a Phytonic Blue with Mocha Vernasca interior and the Fineline Cove trim with the 20" wheels. It will basically have every option except the M Sport Differential. The drive home will include the Tail of the Dragon, which I've wanted to experience ever since I was a MINI Cooper S owner 15 years ago. Should be fun. |

Many of us are waiting for the X3's MY20 order guide, but the X4 guide is available now. I'm considering both vehicles, and in the case of the X4, the MY20 pricing is actually slightly lower than MY19. In my case, the exact same car is $200 less. And for $200 less, you not only gets a newer model year, but you also get the digital dash and (more important imo) iDrive7. There are a few other little additions as well. Also, we think - although it has not been confirmed - that the MY20s will get the ~380hp engine from the M340i. No one likes to cancel an order or all the plans you've made, but I just wanted to make sure you had all the available facts.

Well, with the heightened level of police presence there over the past few years, it's not like I can go crazy with it, anyway. It will be more of a "I traversed the road" than anything else. Not like I can really go nuts in an X3 on a windy bit like that, regardless. I've got plenty of canyon roads mapped out on the last 500 miles of the trip, and those will be post break in.
I like doing these kind of drives with new cars when I'm able, gives me plenty of time behind the wheel to get familiar with it, read through the manual a couple of times, and get all the break in miles behind me as soon as possible. My MINI I purchased in St. Louis and drove home so that I could tackle the local canyons full tilt once I made it back into the Salt Lake Valley. I'm pretty vehicle obsessed, so it gives me time to get a bunch of driving out of my system when I'm by myself so that my wife doesn't get so annoyed - she likes that I do it, too. |

My current lease is up this next month, so my timing is out of my hands. I'm satisfied with what I'm getting, though. I'm only doing a two year lease (it's a business vehicle - but I own my business), so I'm not overly attached, or too worried about price differences. I am always geeking for the latest tech, but I'm not sold on the look of the new digital dash yet. I'm sure in a few months I'll wish I had all the new geegaws, though. That's why I do quick leases, though. Gives me time to enjoy a car just long enough for boredom to set in and my eyes wander to something else. |
