Speed Limit Information (2020 models)

I’ve just had a new custom built 2020 X3 xDrive30i delivered. The vehicle has both Premium and Executive Packages.

The instrument panel nor the heads up display shows the Speed Limit Information, nor can I see any setting for it (my wife’s 2019 X1 has this setting in iDrive Settings>Displays>Instrument Panel>Speed Limit Information). My dealer is ‘surprised’ given the spec of my X3, but they still only have access to 2019 build information, so they can’t tell me if this has been deleted on 2020 models or moved into another ‘option’.

Does anyone have any specific information on this?

I also don't see the Speed Limit in my instrument cluster.

Just thought it was part of a safety package I don't have....

I would say, that it's part of Driving Assistance package, according to sticky thread "Order and price guide". But I'm not that familiar with the US packages.

Yes it’s only part of DA+ and/or ACC.

This was taken away from the 2020 models? The 19’s with the above packages have speed limit info...

In UK it always has been, it's only a guess that US is now the same.

US is just DA with Navi to get the speed limit. At least for 2020.

For 2020, Speed Limit Display is part of the Driver Assistance Package. Do you have that?

No...Did it change from 2019-2020 models, or has the speed limit info always only been available in the DA package?

No...Did it change from 2019-2020 models, or has the speed limit info always only been available in the DA package?

According to the order sheet for 2019, you have to get DA package to get the speed limit feature.
