Really appreciate everyone's input and help. Tried to configure an m40i to specs I could love but the Cerium bits were far too mismatched.
The new X6 looks even worse with it. So I am forced to go M. Good luck with everyone's G01's and GO2's! Must admit the "Live Cockpit Pro" is no where near as "fabulous" as the full digital instrument panel but to the uncritical eye these cars will excite and be practical.

Also the increasing issues with CarPlay and Id7 is a big deterrent!

Why cant you just change the Cerium bits after the fact? Would cost less then going to X4M just for this reason.

Looks fabulous! No need to apologize for something so nice. If we didn't need the utility, we would probably be in an X3M ourselves.

Just by a hair... which makes all the tech and mechanical advances in the M far more "worth it"

Not a fan of the X4, but I can't argue with any of your reasoning.

EXCELLENT!! Don't forget to come back to your old neighborhood on the other side of the tracks and share some pics. Good luck.

If you can afford the X4M then why the hell not!

Btw, what are the ID7 Carplay issues?

I have no issue with the X4M but then again...I am a Coupe SUV fanboy.

Oh that’s not good! I don’t like ID7 anyway, or the new digi dash, hopefully ID8 will be out by the time I next change!

I am biased since I own one but go drive a AMG GLC63s. Technology is basic but the car is a pure beast and a very comfortable ride.

Here is mine, I just lowered it this morning.

I'm always glad to see someone find just what they're looking for, but also must admit I can't relate to this swoopy SUV segment at all, whether BMW, MB, or whomever. I just see turtles...and I have a 3 GT for gosh sake! LOL!

My one complaint with the X3M (non-Comp version) is that it has chrome grills and side vents which are ugly in my opinion (I prefer the cerium ones on the M40i to chrome). I'd have to change those out right away to black, which would be expensive.

Only the Comp is available in UK, so not a problem here.

And we can get all black bits on M40i/d too now, just a damn shame that option wasn't available when I ordered!

Love the GLC 63S. My experience is the Mercedes dealerships dont go much past the MSRP whereas BMW you can get 10% off maybe more.

The new 2020 model is a little updated so I think it's very equal to the X4M. Hard choice.
