X3M (non-Comp) in Phytonic Blue/Black Merino

First one I've seen in that color, I think it looks great! I believe the wheels are a different color than the ones I've seen on all the X3MC's.

I am not digging the chrome grilles and trim, they should have blacked it all out like the X3MC. It's probably going to cost over $500 to get the black grilles and trim pieces from IND once they become available.

I agree on the trim.

With the black mirrors and exhaust that's fine to only make the comp all black but all versions should get black "trim" it looks so much better. Or at least offer a black pack like most other companies for $500.

Ha. I'm actually trading my 30i for a non comp but will get black grill and delete front reflectors. Will keep chrome exhaust because I think it looks good.

That's going to be sharp. Did you opt for the 21" wheels?

Thanks. Nope main reason I didn't do comp. Live in a city with bad roads. Can't wait to see how the brakes fill up the 20s.

Good call, you will also have more (and less expensive) tire options including all-season's with the 20's.

Oof that side trim in chrome is atrociously bad. I thought it would be tolerable but nope.

So do we know what is the actual difference between base and comp exhaust?

I passed on this color because it is not M specific and looks like every other X3 on the road, especially the non comp with the chrome trim. BMW really screwed us with the color choices, not even carbon black. For the money they charge and the exclusivity the needed better colors besides just Donington. They could have offered Ruby Black, or San Merino Blue or even Long Beach Blue!. I got this one for the family and next year will be ordering a X5M and no way am I getting a non M color unless it is individual.

The Tech papers posted above have a view of the Comp vs Non exhaust. The baffle Control is different and the Comp can completely bypass the muffler with the baffle for zero restriction. Cool design.
