$320+ for Michigan registration on a yearly basis
$120/month insurance cost, with 500 deductible (US peeps, please include deductible amount as that it the major factors for how costly insurance will be and make it more comparable). I guess UK/EU beats US on car insurance... by a lot ha! |

It really depends on where you live and where you drive. When I was in MD my rate was somewhere around 60/month, when I moved to LA it jumped to 98 , nothing happened in between. I have another car registered to bay area and the rate is 80$. All with Geico.

indeed cost of living is always going to be a major factor in insurance premium pricing, as would be credit score and many other factors if we want to get technical. I'm more curious though what deductible US peeps have vs UK/EU (which seems to be no deductible and full insurance cover)

$431 for 6 months. $500 deductible, 250/500/100 coverage. High uninsured moterist coverage. Multiple cars, house and umbrella. Clean driving record. Safe neighborhood. Discount for driving school.
