From the research I have done, yes. The mounting piece under it is the same which leads me to believe it will fit perfectly.

I plan to get the X3M spoiler and then add the M Performance spoiler for the X3M on it.

It's the X3M spoiler, with the M Performance spoiler on top.

Correct, my car is dark graphite/ sophisto grey (but close enough for your needs)

But I still need help.. anyway I'm gonna take it off and start again and hopefully get better results.

Maybe it needs a bit of heat, or lube on the clips.

I started at one side and worked my way over to the other side with regards to popping the clips in. I did have to back up and redo some as they weren't sitting right after doing the next clip.
