Then the line worker who installed the emblems must have somehow used the old template from the 2018 model year. That template should have been no where near the assembly line. Pretty poor quality control.

I went back and looked at all my videos from the Performance Center and I can’t see where the others were placed. I’m looking at the pics of the 2019s at my local dealers and they are all down. Very interesting.

Is there anyone else on here who picked up their X3 at the Performance Center that can verify if theirs is up or down? I'm wondering if that is a way that they identify cars that are to be picked up at the manufacturer vs. being shipped off to a dealer.

I picked mine up at the PDC last Thursday. They are all down. The X3 is in the lower left and the xDrive30i is in the lower right.

I looked back at one of the videos of me driving their X3, and the X3 was in the upper right. I can't see any other badging in the video.

Very interesting. Someone else has suggested that it was done as a result of some body damage that happened in the assembly process. I'm hoping that's not the case, but if it is, I can't tell at all. Maybe I just have a unicorn.

I'm curious if yours is a MY2019 or 2020? I know 2020 x30i production starts this month but interested to know if any has rolled off the line yet

I have not tried Adams H2O. But I might. I have a treasure trove of waxes, sealants, and protectants already. Everything from Pinnacle, Blackfire, Zaino, Duragloss, Shine Supply, Gtechniq, Zymol, Finish Kare, Dodo Juice, Mezerna and countless others. Yeah, I have a problem. None of the products I currently have will give the shine or protection of the new ceramic coatings but I do still enjoy using them.

Duragloss Aquawax which might not technically be considered a quick detailer, for just $9 or $10, is a steal. Easy to use wet or dry, smells great, no streaks and killer shine. For $20, Zaino Grand Finale might be my overall favorite. Use on everything from paint, to glass, to plastics. Super slick and the smell is the best.

No fuss for that option unfortunately. You can use something like BimmerCode to code the car to remember the last setting of ASS which it can then default to always off.
