Yeah Bimmercode has been disappointing for G01. The car has been out almost a year and it’s only got basic options.
It’s probably due to the fact most useful option changes require esys.

Say, does anyone know what the FDL setting is to turn off the "OK" on the G01 iDrive 6 welcome screen? I turned off disclaimers on my new M40i but noticed that I had turned off the "OK" on my spouse's 30i.

For the life of me, I can't remember where that code is.

THIS is why I wish there were external cheat sheets. In the old-school days (F30, circa 2012), you'd print out a cheat sheet, mark what you'd done and/or wanted to do and had a reference.

The integrated cheat sheets make coding much harder. It's like a digital vs. analog watch. The former tells you only what is now, the latter makes determining durations easier.

Has anyone noticed any additions for the G01 on the BimmerCode app lately? I mainly want to code out ASS, but some other features would be cool.

I'd like to know what the current options are. And if not great, is there a different app to get?

So here are screen shots of the currently supported ecu’s. I also included the adjustable settings within each supported ecu (indicates in green).

I’m assuming you are referring to the “ok” for the legal disclaimer. That setting is listed under the head unit and then legal disclaimer.

Considering using this app but I'm reading the bad reviews for the recommended OBD Bluetooth iOS Adapters. They are not connecting or other function problems with Bimmercode.

Can any one comment? Want to use with iPhone or iPad. Thx

It’s kind of luck of draw. The first one I ordered didn’t work at all. The second has worked flawlessly for the past two years or so.

Same for me. The first one I ordered wouldn't connect at all or would connect and drop right away.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The second one I ordered works with no issues.

-driver seat move back when car is stopped for easier access
-auto lane change with lane assist and flashers
-side camera activation with flashers
-eco pro or sports mode start.

Can esys do all that?
Ie, set mode and enable auto lane change?

What about forcing steering assist to stay active longer without steering input from driver. It disconnects way too fast.

I was looking at the recommended adapters. Really would like this to go well without bricking the car!

The Vgate iCar Pro has 22% one star reviews and 68% five star and also worked for Zirenz2006

Veepeak has 18% one star, 58% five star and various in between reviews.

Go Vgate? Any other input from people using Bimmercode?

Does anyone know if it's possible to code away the display of the driving modes when I switch?

Like when I press adaptive, the iDrive screen shows Adaptive for a few seconds preventing me from doing other things briefly.

You can turn this off in idrive settings, can't remember where off the top of my head but I did this soon after getting the car, no need to code to do it

I found the setting and disabled it, thanks! Useless display. It already says the mode on the digital instrument cluster. Plus... I know I pressed the button.

Voice to pop-ups works?? Is there a voice command that will take me to the Sports Displays? I'd use them occasionally, but too many clicks and I don't want to waste 1 of 7 presets on it!
