Happy to help when I can, GVN*2FLY. I'll post this chart over on the Qtr mile thread as well so we can keep the data in one centralized area.

FWIW, I also used the dragtimes DA conversion tool ( http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-...calculator.php ) which shows Nate's run at DA +2388 would approx 11.708 sec @ 117.52mph at sea level. And MGWally's would equate to 11.711 sec @ 118.79mph. Note - it doesn't seem to handle negative DA numbers so I plugged in 2 feet rather than -350 to derive that. Not sure how rigorously this model has been tested, but gives an idea I guess. Either way, would be an interesting drag race to watch.

Looking forward to reading about your track experience this Fall.

Drove the X3MC at M Town this week and was surprised that it felt a little underpowered for 500hp. I attributed this to driving it right after the M5C though. What a monster that thing is.

I was really impressed with the S58 sound. Big difference with the exhaust flaps open, appreciated the button to toggle the flaps.

How's that M3 treating you? Share some recent pics. Looks like you may have added a CS lip and black lines? Anything else?

Still loving it and waxing it more than I drive it!

Don't have any good pics yet but added RKP skirts recently. You listed the other recent mods 😀

I'm thinking of an X3MC to become the daily in a few years. We'll see if the appeal holds

My old girl!! she looks good and I'm glad you are taking good care of her.

As for the X3MC, I had the same feeling as you, but yet that didn't stop me from making an offer today lol. Of course my offer was ridiculously low, as I guess I must not really want to unload my X5M.

I drove the X3MC this weekend and i was expecting more. Im in an X3M40 and thought there was going to be a big jump in performance. Im sure this would make a difference on a track head to head but on the street not worth the 18k price jump. The seats were nice obviously better than stock if you can fit in them. It definitely felt more planted on hard turns and power on the high end was noticeable. Again for daily driving i personally could not justify the price difference. The car i drove didnt have the crackle and pops that my M40 has. Did they take that away? I did have the flaps open and everything was in sport plus the entire drive.

LOL! I only get the crackles and pops from the X3Mc in Sport Plus on the 2-3 throttle setting, and even then, it’s in response to a pretty rapid deceleration which is where I’d want them.

The car differentiates itself closer to the edge than a day to day drive might reveal. Not sure how aggressive you got on the test drive, but I’d guess if you pushed it, you’d notice the difference from the still very good X3 M40i. It won’t make sense to everyone and that’s ok - good even.

Cheers!

Thats exactly what i said in my first post. At the high end you can feel the difference. But daily driving im not going to be pulling 100 mph every on ramp at least not every day. I can easily get around pretty much any car i want in the M40 and thats what i want. Listen if money didnt matter then yeah go for it and i would too. But dollars matter and for me an 18k price jump for what i get back is not worth it. I never said the car sucked or anything like that.
