Most Milage?
At 88K miles I just had the charge pipe replaced. I'm hoping to get many more miles from the car. I'm curious as to who has the most mileage (kilometerage?) on their F25?

Most Milage?
Friend of mine, unfortunately not on forums, is at 156k on his 35i. Proper maintenance and a FTP charge pipe will keep these cars running good.

I had the original charge pipe on my 11 X3 35i when I pre-emptively changed it for a FTP metal pipe at ~110k miles. Currently over 122k miles.

Is this thread about mileage or charge pipes I'm confused? Anyways, 126k on our 2015 x3 28i. Original charge pipe.

I should have mentioned that this is on an '11 35i, which I still love driving.
The other ‘11 in the house is a Subie Outback with a whopping 11K miles in 8 years. It might have been less costly to use Uber than to buy the Subaru... Last edited by 02420X3; 08-21-2019 at 03:13 PM.. |

I was lucky as the charge pipe change was covered under a lemon law warranty. I guess the reason for mentioning it is to also examine the dependability and pain (or joy) associated with X3 F25 ownership.

Our experience has been practically painfree. Thermostat was replaced under warranty. Just had the lower control arm bushings replaced and an alignment done as the car was starting to wander. That's the most I've spent on it. Hoping to drive it for at least another 3 years. Had a Blackstone oil analysis done recently and nothing abnormal was found, in fact our averages were below universal averages.

Sort of.. The guides were changed at 129K, based on the coloration discussed in some other threads it looks like they were original. But there were two owners before me, so I can't be sure.
