Not a lot of love for this car so far. I personally am a fan of the x6 and this looks good as well.
Im excited to see them at full reveal

It's really growing on me but seeing these pix sitting next to the next generation X6 just makes it look awesome. |

It was old and cheap looking when F25 came in 2011!
Having said that, i think it will sell very well!

Is this a 428xi GT? The X3 and X5 are taller and X6 and now X4 are wagonish. Odds are trucks and evens are wagons? Oh wait X1 is a wagon as well. So many crossovers I'm just confused.

I'm surprised how small the car looks compared with X6.

Ughh...ugly...why even bother putting camo on it when we all know what it will look like. Or actually, just keep that camo on to cover the hideous pig. Ugly!!!

I like the X6 but it is soon due for its new body style. I don't get why they made the X4 "older" looking and didn't go with the newer dash style as seen in the X5 and what the next X6 will probably look like.

oh god i don't know where to start.. i really want to love this car but..
1) halogen standard?? really? 2) interior looks cheap, period 4) the front bumper just looks odd, in a base X1 sort of way i actually don't mind the idea of a sporty suv/coupe. some people want the high driving position with a sleep body, and don't necessarily need massive amounts of storage. but this just isn't the way to do it..

Thanks for confirming this. So they are covering up the floating screen with a panel in that picture, as I stated.

wow this thing looks much smaller than I thought. An X3 next to an X5 doesn't look like that big of a difference (have parked ours next to last gen many times), this looks TINY compared to the X6, maybe its just the angle?
lots of hate on this car, not surprised based on the the people who join sites like bimmerpost (hard core fans, enthusiasts). If the interior is going to be more up to date (like F30) then I might be interested, if its the same as F25 then I guess I will be getting a different brand SUV next year (F30 interior feels a lot nicer than F25 and for a car coming out after both, the X4 should be more up to date). |

Why put big air ducts on the front bumper that are fake? They are clearly, plainly, obviously just big sheets of closed off plastic. Not only hideous, but I think people generally buy BMW for function over style.

X1, X3, X4, X5, X6?
Is bmw going to make an X2, X7 and an X8? What about the GT series? 1GT, 2GT... 8GT? I'm still a BMW fan, but I don't get the explosion of models that all basically use the same components. They say it is good business and maybe it is, but I say it dilutes the brand overall. each model is a touch less special and more econobox feeling. My opinion only. |
