how do i completely remove Pandora from the menu
I cant take it anymore.. i dont want my phone to launch Pandora app on my phone every time i sit in my car. How do i remove entirely the app from the BMW menu so that my phone will not try to connect to it? I have tried the "disable auto launch" in the Pandora app on on my phone but it didnt do anything. I simply just do not want a PANDORA app anywhere on my 2021 X3 and i've scrolled through every option on the BMW menu to look how to delete it..i tried youtube briefly but it was mostly about connecting to apps.
thank you.. |

On an iPhone go to Settings-General-CarPlay-My Car-Customize and you can select / remove which apps are included.

Had this issue on my 2019, but I never found out how disable it and have since sold the car. See if the below works...?
go the Pandora app > tap on ‘Profile’ (bottom right) > tap on Settings (the cog wheel @ the top right) > tap Advanced > turn off ‘Enable Launch From Car’ (under BluetoothDevices). |

On the iPhone you can "off-load" an app. By "off-loading" you still retain all data and settings of the app...it will just not automatically boot the app.
Later IF you decide you want the app to function then all you do is double click on the app icon and it will "re-load" and work perfectly. I haven't found any other way to prevent Pandora from turning on when the car turns on. |

I had Pandora on my M240i and it was not great. It interfered with too much ... and was left on the car when I sold it.
It upset the deadlocking and the immobiliser just would not disarm twice causing me issues. The alarm was a great idea but maybe too complex for it's own good. I moved to a Meta S5 Deadlock tracker / separate but linked immobiliser on the X3 and have had no issues at all. |
