Surprised that this car looks good, it's proportional. X6 design is just straight up ugly compared to this even though essentially it's the same thing

The previous gen x6 lci is hands down the nicest looking suv out right now

The new X6 looks way better than this...

I kinda don't like how BMW started to use music with vocals in their ads. Also this one in particular is like an Inception movie rip-off...

At least in Australia, it will get flogged by the Macan, if you can get your hands on one. It needs better pricing down under, in X4 3.0T guise it retails $10k over the porsche, is way slower and is no where near as desirable. It needs the triple T Diesel engine out of the X6 M50d and a price drop.

All that said, it looks great.

I seriously considered buying this for the wife. But in the end, she thought it was way too expensive for a compact SUV. $50k is just not something your throw away for something like this. The Macan becomes a better deal.

I don't know, I'll have to see one in person. I was totally on board with the idea until I started seeing production pictures. The beltline looks a little high and the hips look a little narrow. In pictures, the X4 isn't tough enough looking, also the case with the X3. They did a better job with the X5 and X6. Not sure I could pull the trigger.

What a stupid commercial. I was waiting for the X4 to lose control and run over the basketball player, because I really don't know what other association it would have with playing a pick up game of basketball.

because it will look like the X6 and they need something to differentiate them both. agreed that it looked less aggressive to only one side but the proportion of the X4 is awesome.

The X4 should do alot better than the E71 imo.
It looks better, comes with a more reasonable engine, and isn't as big and chunky.
The minus is the interiour of course, which imo, was dated since the F25 was released.

You drive the the X4
