Hang in there we’ll get one! I started reaching out in Jan letting the dealers know I wanted to take delivery in June or July. My CA emailed me in early March to tell me they were starting to see some delays. I just wasn’t ready at that time and had no idea how allocations would be this limited.

My plan was to rent an X3 in March to see how I liked it, I loved it (even though I’d was just an s30) and I got on the list right away. I think I was 9th or 10th and the dealer got 5 allocations that month. They mentioned they probably got more than they should of and then it was a few months until where I am no, 2nd.

I’m hoping most of us on waitlist hit the jackpot this week. I’m guessing the prize is well worth the wait.

I have less options than most living on an island. I’d far and away prefer to buy from the only dealer here on Oahu vs buying on the continental USA and shipping the X4 in. It’s a somewhat unique circumstance I imagine.

It makes absolutely no sense to me re that color unavailability

Fwiw, I passed on a 2022 allocation yesterday afternoon. With 2023’s going into production in August it just felt like the right thing to do. My salesman was onboard with my decision as well; mentioned a new curved screen for 2023…possible a couple other changes.

Sorry, been away. For sure option ZDY, DAPP was only on the M40i. Not available on any other X3, at least as of that list's date.

The list I have doesn't show deletions. Wish it did, they decontent much more and I'm keeping my 2019 M40i.

BMW Minnetonka/ MN says no. The refresh was the 2022 model so it will be a year or two. It's ugly as hell in my opinion. I'm going 2023 X4 M40i.

Man I check My Garage & status probably 4-5 times per day M-F. I've still been at Production Begins for couple weeks and it's supposed to be completed Friday, July 1st. I happen to be awake working rebooting/patching servers at work and logged in to check: moved up 3 stages to "Entering Assembling Line." Guessing it should meet 07/01 completion.

Out of curiosity...does anyone how many shifts they run at the plant?

Don't know about shifts but my car also sat at Production Begins for 2 weeks and then moved through the entire rest of the process in a day or so.

They run two 10 hour shifts. We were just there for a PCD. Your build should make it no problem. Should move pretty quickly through the next steps.

I'm doing the PCD as well. Heck, it looks to be done, as of right now it says "Quality Check".
I presume scheduling the PCD came after you signed paperwork at the dealer?
Once you signed paperwork, what was the earliest date you were provided to do the PCD?
UPDATE: No longer need my questions answered. My dealer just called for this and first available date for PCD is 8/02...5.5 weeks from now! Man I was really hoping to have it in 2-3 weeks, but I went ahead and accepted the date. I already sold my Audi and it's in the garage waiting on the buyer to send me a check & for carrier to come get it. I'll have to drive my mother's Buick Encore even longer now which I have not enjoyed at all this week!
