I am considering changing my wheel selection for a vehicle I have had on order for a month that currently shows a Nov. 1 start date. I am still at order received status. Does anyone know if changing my selection could actually improve the build schedule or is the current date the best I am going to get? I have been on the fence with both wheels all along and will be happy with either one.

I asked that very question to the GENIUS and dealership. The answer was maybe maybe not. The only way to know is to make the changes and see what happens. My build is scheduled for week 47 from 35. Extended Shadow Line Package and the default wheels in the M-Sport package is the culprit for me. In fact the Extended Shadowline package is no longer available for the X3 30i.

I’m wondering the same, and emailed genius as well. Extended shadowline has us starting week 45, but could push back. I asked if cancelling shadowline would speed it up at all. Nothing else in order is delayed so here’s to hoping.

So…anyone have a lead on a blacked out aftermarket grille for a LCI?

Any work order changes can delay your build. Especially if the item changed to isn't available.
