My wife has the new toy (2020 X3M40i) and is having some 'issues'. I suspect some might be operator error, however Ive sen her doing a few of these and Im stumped as well.

1) iPhone 7 connected via bluetooth (no carplay, that sucks). A message pops up on the screen about voice connection and if she disconnects that (only option) her phone is dead for ANY voice input (even on the phone itself such as "talk text") until the car is shutdown and restarted.

2) strange behavior where the center screen gets stuck on the phone "calling itself". When this happens its locked in a loop - cant hang up the call from the steering button, center screen, or the phone itself. No raio either (or navi...). Have to shut the car off, and start over to end the loop). In fairness I saw this ONCE on my Audi A6. Were on iOS 13.2 now (although it did happen on iOS 12.x as well... when I saw it happen.

Im driving a '19 540 - not quite the same interface, albeit similar. I haven't had any of these issues and I have 2 iPhones (7+ and an 8). Dealer is stymied as to what this might be.

The only code on the X3 is start-stop

CarPlay is awesome. Latest 2020 release of iOS 13 is latest and best. 2020 iDrive 7 works really well with CarPlay.
