error code 2ADB00 Engine guard safety concept

hello
my bmw f25 2013 doesn’t accelerate probably after after 50mph

i did diagnostic on it and it came up with few error
one if them was

error code 2ADB00 Engine guard safety concept: engine torque reduction due to oil intake

any advice what to look into

l also got AUC sensor fault but l do not know where the sensor is located

Plug your code(s) into this site, you will need to also select which engine you have and see what it tells you https://bmwfault.codes

Be sure to read all the info in the results, here is an example.. ..

I still can't find where the AUC sensor located

any advice guys?

You didn't say which engine your F25 has, that might make a difference with finding the AUC sensor. However, an AUC sensor should have nothing to do with your acceleration problem.

If I'm right, the AUC sensor senses the quality of the air in the engine bay where the air intake is for the cabin air (HVAC system). If it senses unsafe air, it will automatically tell the CPU to put your car into cabin air recirculation mode. So, is your car going into recirculation mode by itself? or is it stuck in that mode?

Not sure where the sensor is located but I would only spend time trying to find it if you are having those kind of issues. Here are a couple pix of what it looks like on various models. It could be in the engine bay near the cabin air intake or it could be inside the ductwork, dunno.

what does it actually mean in simpler term?
