Interchangeable Axle-Back Exhausts?

Do any axle-back options from other models work on the F25? Say something for an F30?

I believe F26 exhausts work

(would need to trim lower right side of bumper to accommodate extra exhaust tips, which is what most already do when they buy a Remus exhaust)

Do we have any idea the difference in this exhaust to the stock F25 one?

I'm not 100%

I bought h&r springs / koni struts off of someone from this forum. When we met, I commented about his exhaust system. He advised, it was a sport exhaust from an F26, and it bolted right up. (he only had to dremel the bottom right of rear bumper to fit the extra exhaust tip)

Interesting, I've been looking for other options as well. Might have to look into F26 options.

Although aftermarket, Supersprint makes an axle back without needing to cut the bumper and one you need to cut the bumper. Supersprint X3

Is there not a diffuser for the F25 that's made with two exhaust cut-outs?

The Alpina diffuser, but it costs ~$800 and needs slightly oversized tips.

Looks like a nice package. Shouldn't be hard to dremel the bumper. I like the look of symmetrical exhausts.

Remus used to have a single exit option, sadly it's no longer available.

I'm not sure that I'm up for cutting the bumper for an exhaust at the moment. Was hoping there might be one that uses the left side as the factory one does.

I did now. Something like that is perfect, but $1,3oo? Maybe I'll have to hold off on the idea for now

has anyone tried/measured the F30 exhaust to see if it fits? https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=18_0978

I've been comparing as many as I can, the F30's look damn close. Ultimately I'd like to muffler delete and put in straight piping, but have both axle-back setups easy swappable if I wanted to put the quietness back on. Where's all the custom fabrication shops when ya need one?

You're all over the place, F30 has dual output, though you don't want to cut the bumper Besides, I seriously doubt a F30 muffler will bolt right up. Better to just get an aftermarket one that bolts up without modifications or have a shop custom make one. Muffler delete will probably be obnoxious with drone at certain rpms.

All over the place? I see you must have thought I wanted to change my mind to the F30 idea. Just saying it looks close, I still don't want to cut the bumper or get a different one.
