I heard that Maxton has a location available in the US. IDK though. But I am interested.

Going to get myself one of these ordered, looks really good.
Really don't fancy fitting it myself, does anyone know anywhere decent around South London that they'd recommend for fitting something like this? |

Looks great, I'm hoping the rain will stop soon so I can get mine fitted, had it for a couple of weeks and still haven't opened the box

Can you do a little update on the self tappers and if they are holding on tight. I have read a few horror stories about them coming off unless bolted. Mine has arrived and just worried about using screws!! Thanks Luke Last edited by Lukeuk; 02-25-2020 at 11:40 AM.. |

All going strong, tested on a private stretch of road well into three figures a number of times. I had Maxton splitters on my two previous cars F30_335d & F32_440i never bolted, and not had any issue's with them. Just use plenty of VHB tape initially, not just one strip. Also use decent sized self tappers of a few mm width. I would rather the self tappers pull out, leaving a small hole, then bolted where it might pull the whole bumper off.

That’s about the size I used, approx 12 of them. No need to jack vehicle up, there is plenty of room to drill 1.5mm pilot holes before using screws.
