Any US shops want to get this group buy going? I would totally help out with anything if we can get it going.

That lip looks awesome.

I heard that Maxton has a location available in the US. IDK though. But I am interested.

When did you order it? I called them today and they advised 1-2 weeks before they receive it and another 5 days for delivery.

Going to get myself one of these ordered, looks really good.

Really don't fancy fitting it myself, does anyone know anywhere decent around South London that they'd recommend for fitting something like this?

Any one ordered the side skirt for M40i?
We are going to place the group buy from TAIWAN, but didn't know if it fit?

The Maxton sticker is easily removed, then a little alcohol rub to remove residue.

For the UK guys, there are a few coupons/codes on line that give 10% of all the site, not sure if it would work for our US cousins. These were working a few hours ago, such as: TSRS10
on site https://dealspotr.com/promo-codes/maxtondesign.co.uk

Maxton on Ebay as well, but only 1 splitter left on site, I am sure they only get them in in small numbers, I had to wait for a couple of weeks.

Hi,

Can you do a little update on the self tappers and if they are holding on tight. I have read a few horror stories about them coming off unless bolted.

Mine has arrived and just worried about using screws!!

Thanks

Luke

Hi Luke,

All going strong, tested on a private stretch of road well into three figures a number of times. I had Maxton splitters on my two previous cars F30_335d & F32_440i never bolted, and not had any issue's with them.

Just use plenty of VHB tape initially, not just one strip. Also use decent sized self tappers of a few mm width.

I would rather the self tappers pull out, leaving a small hole, then bolted where it might pull the whole bumper off.

That's good to know. The screws are 12mm in length with a pan head of 5mm, making the thread about 3mm I guess. Would that be ok?

That’s about the size I used, approx 12 of them. No need to jack vehicle up, there is plenty of room to drill 1.5mm pilot holes before using screws.
