Bought an 05 X3 (142k mi)... it’s broken in and I believe it started life as a rental car. Edit: It’s my first BMW. like the straight six and don’t mind working on it myself. I bought it after I arrived in Honolulu because I was in a crash in our 03 CTS (250k mi) two days before it was supposed to ship here.

It’s got this cap... hopefully a cap over the 12v outlet/cigarette lighter plug. I don’t smoke however, I’d like to plug a dash cam, radar detector, and a usb charger in so I’d like to know how to remove this.
