Map update available 2019-2 EVO Europe

EVO 2020-2 downloaded from BMW Download Manager and successfully installed whilst ticking over on my drive June 4th 2020.

Hopefully make use of it when lockdown eases.

Just got a message through for the first time!

Pressing it takes you to the version screen though, so not sure how to actually apply it.

Might just take the usb route like like time [IMG][/IMG]

USB update worked flawlessly as always. Interestingly though is the build information on them, suggesting that 2020-2 might be a "bugfix" release, as it's only actually one week older than 2020-1:

Unfortunately there's no delta process in these, all the files get replaced! Annoying i know !

Over 5hrs to download onto my USB for me.

I'm sure the read/write speed of my USB doesn't help.

5% in and 5hr 40m to go, oh joy!

In my case download in about 30 min, copy to usb memory in about 10, installation in the car 45 min

I've updated via USB to 2020-2 but I still have the notification Update recomm. With no way as far as I can see of deleting the notification.

my car show 2020-01 available too but not let me do anything. I login to my account from computer but not seeing anywhere let download and update either

Ive tried this....From the Update recomm Screen you can select options (below gear selector) and scroll down to delete notification, whether it comes back again though...its gone for now.

Thanks, but this website is for UK (I am in Canada). After I log in, I can't add my car to my account on this portal. If I log into the Canadian portal, there is no download option.

I deleted the update notification and it came back again upon the next restart of the vehicle.

Sorry for hijacking this thread. But I would like to ask about Middle East maps. My 2020 X4 with a build date of 08/07/2019 is having the version in the pic below. I just got back my car after its first service at 7000km and the service guys said there's no update for the vehicle. Also I checked for software updates on BMW.com and It's sayings have the latest updates. So any ideas will be helpful.
Btw I'm in Qatar.

My experience of asking for updates is you won't get unless you specifically give a check list of what you want. Sad but true :-(

So looks like they (your dealer) didn't have maps in mind?

Can you login to bmw download manager and see if you have a later version? I was COMPLETELY behind the curve on this thinkiing all updates to my vehicle were OTA until I came across this thread and just downloaded the 36GB (now I know why it's not OTA ;-) file.

Interestingly, it took longer to unzip than download - LOL.

You would probably have to ask dealer specifically for map update. Don't know the up-to-date version of the maps for your part of world, but if the same applies as here (map updates 4 times in year), than yours is definitely outdated.
