What Bimmercode needs is to allow select-able 2WD mode like the M5

I have coded mine using E-Sys.
I also coded ///M Color Theme, light blue on the top, blue on the middle, and red on the bottom.
It is not as bad as hot red though. I have coded a lot of F90 M5 with hot red ambient light.
Can you upload a pic with the ////M style lighting theme?
I clear it out since it didn't come out right with Sakhir Orange Interior.
It looks pretty good in my G30 with Black interior.

Would any F97 owners here be kind enough to share their FA and SVT files on the G01 section?

Needs more than a code for that to work

Bimmercode X3M options:

I used the iphone app and wired lightning to ENET. I love the small changes I can make. Makes using the car that much easier and gets rid of annoying things.

I asked in another thread when I first got the car, but I've searched & can't find that post or thread, so forgive the duplicate post, but is there a way to code the driver's seat to go back when you turn off the ignition? Other cars I've driven had a "comfort seating" option where the seat came back & the steering wheel came up. It's easier to get out of the car with a purse or tote bag when the seat goes back.

Not on the 3/4 at present. That luxury is still reserved for the 5s and above.

Yes, here is the exact link. Mine is the same brand just black color which looks like the only have grey or silver now.

Lighting Ethernet Adapter, Phone... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XHQCQSN

When coding just make sure you get an IP on the ethernet before opening the Bimmercode app and make sure you're in Airplane mode or someone calling will cause problems maybe brick something.

How much faster is Lightning to Ethernet route vs Bluetooth? I already have the OBDLink MX+ adapter from before (good that it can work on G Series cars too) and am trying to weigh out if I should invest in the Lightning to Ethernet route.

Rumor has it that with Bootmod's next update, we can use our phone to flash with the Lightning ethernet adapter plus obd connector.

No rumor, it's a fact, just no ETA at this point.

@Will Pwr,
It is so much faster. It zooms from 0 to 100% when reading the coding, and when you code it, also super fast. Easily 10x quicker if not more.

Thanks for that info.... definitely worth the $40 despite already having MX+
