I use a swiffer on the theory that it has a lighter touch on surfaces like the instrument cluster display and piano black. It's awesome at removing dust, and I'm trying to avoid grinding any dust and causing microscratches (like what might happen if I used a MF cloth).
I've also tried various sprays and wipes (including ones for LCD/LED monitors) on the instrument cluster display, and they've all left nasty thin films. Nowadays, I just use a very lightly damp MF cloth, but only on the rare smudge; otherwise, it's swiffer-only to minimize microscratching. |
