What cars have beaten your M40?

I know this car isn't the fastest on the planet and most of us aren't race fanatics, but there are times where somebody in a "X" rolls up to you at a red light and you want to have fun. I am undefeated in my limited sample.

I don’t have an M40, only a 30i, but today I smoked a 62 VW Beetle. Yesterday I was taunted by a Chevy Volt and had to shut him down. I have been looking for a Yugo to school, but not sure if there are still any around.

A Dodge Charger Hellcat, but so far, that is the only one. I should say that I don't go looking to race, but if someone tries and it is safe to do so, I will put them in their place.

Sorry but no chance. Maybe from a dig, maybe for a little bit until the hellcat gets some traction, but as soon as that happens it is game over. From a roll you don't stand a chance. I have an m40i too and I love the car, but just being realistic. You are talking about a 707 hp animal.

All mods are in YouTube descriptions. Some are just ECU turn and others are ECU/TCU Tune.

Stock I was able to beat a Ford Focus RS, Ford Edge Sport w/mods, Camaro, couple other cars.

I can beat a lot of muscle cars off the line till about 1/8 mile when the big V8 start making there horsepower. But it's great to see their look in there eyes when a SUV (M40I) beats them at the light. I think one young man blew his transmission trying to down shift and a over rev on his dads mustang

Haha, those weren't even close! Straight up smoked

The G35 is what made me start this thread. A younger guy in a coupe had the exhaust tricked out, popping and cracking hard, and sorta gave a look over at me at the red light...so I had to spank him

I don't what else if anything was going on with that car.

For me, as above, I don't go out with the intent of owning others. However every so often I cannot resist a competitive real time analysis :-) . Best so far is some big Bentley 4x4 I decided to punch it from 0 and he couldn't gain. Got to about 85 and I thought (this being a 40 - clear though, two lanes etc.. no one around. I bailed. It sure did sound sweet when it went past though (think it was a v8).

I bet he was shocked ;-)

I Put a Audi RS6 in its place a few weeks ago.
Hes lane 1 i'm lane 2 out of 3, Sat at the lights on red knowing his lane is closing in 150 yards and he knew it as well.

I popped it in lunch mode and we both went for it, 100 yards later hes on the brake not able to over take. WINNER!!
