Waiting For X3e

I'm about a year from lease turn-in (with likely BMWFS pull-ahead) for my 330iX GT, so time to start obsessing about the replacement. I've concluded that the X3 is my best choice as my next daily driver. (Modded 2 Series only comes out to play for certain trips/destinations.) With more than half my DD trips short enough not to get an ICE to operating temperature, I'm fairly certain of choosing the upcoming X3e variant. Had been considering i4 (based on next-gen 4 Gran Coupe), but X3e range and power seem right, and no range anxiety/recharge search worries of a full BEV for any longer trips that might happen. I found a few articles about X3e from months ago that seem promising. Anyone have more recent/complete info to share?

According to C/D (in the review below) the new plug in variants are expected around January-February 2020. The x3 will be first, with the 330e and X5 45e arriving later.

Well, the PHEV will as far as I know be very similar to the ICE versions, except that batteries probably will give a slightly smaller luggage space. Probably similar to the difference between 530i and 530e.
It has been in testing since at least the Winter of 2017 up north here in Sweden, but put on hold for some reason.
Exact numbers regarding range, and prices, I guess we have to wait for until it's near a release, and when non-BMW people have been testing it in real conditions.
