Fuse 218. In fact I just got back in from the garage after pulling it again since the dealership had to put it back in order to update the car.

Looks good, does this just glue on top of the stock piece, or you have to remove the stock piece?

Thanks.

Sticks on with double sided tape that's pre installed on the piece

Had the carbon mirror caps added as the cerium ones just mark at the slightest touch.

Hey Adam,

If I remember correctly, you have done coding. If so, why wouldn't you just code ASD off rather than pulling fuse 218 (which as you just learned interferes with the dealer being able to perform software updates if the fuse is not replaced first)?

Fuse pull is quicker than coding. No other reason than that to be honest.

Absolutely! I had to wait a bit to upload from a computer to avoid the 640x480 limit on the mobile app.

It's so shiny and beautiful now!
Note: it's ceramic coated and has XPEL applied to the full front.

Installed the wireless charger from eBay. Really happy with the result. It's easy than I thought but unplug the blue connector under idrive controller panel is really pain ass, I tried many different ways to get it done.

Even if its new, update the firmware, i think the latest is v13.1

Youll get smoother power delivery

Yessir, Terry sent it over to me as soon as I got my hands on it. Definitely loving the power but my wife needs to be on Valet mode

I do want to do a Bootmod3 tune and lap the jb4 over to get the max power but it is a lease. My wife knows the service manager at the dealership from when she was younger so I am going to intervene and pop some questions if he could let our car slide past.

I have a lease also, is getting JB4 going to get me into trouble? Can I reverse it back and is it traceable?

Traceable? Yes. But if nothing breaks you should be fine. Honestly it's just up to the dealer and your relationship with them. I'm 1 yr down in my 3 yr lease term and I've taken my car in for service tuned, downpipe, straight piped and no issues. Same with my previous lease (335i) just returned everything back to stock and no problem. I would probably imagine if I weren't getting into another bmw maybe they would've cared more but that wasn't the case.
