Front Dash Speaker Rattle / Vibration (X3 M40i 2019)
Hey BMW Family,
I recently purchased a 2019 X3 M40i (Glacier Silver) and have really been enjoying my time with it! Although this car has been a blast driving (trying to be good while still breaking in...still at 1200 mile lol) there are a few things that have started to drive me mad. As others have discussed on this thread, my M40i sunroof has unfortunately began to rattle primarily on dry-warm days, but I will leave that discussion to another post. I have started to hear a very audible rattle/vibration coming from what I am almost positive is the front center console speaker cover (dash speaker's housing / plastic cover). The rattle sound begins at around 3.5-4 RPM from the engine/exhaust vibration while in sport/sport+. When the buzzing/rattle sound begins, I am able to make it go away by applying slight pressure on the speaker cover. I was wondering has anyone else had similar or same problem with a buzzing/vibrating speaker cover?! I am super stoked to finally have my first BMW and be a part of this awesome community -Any tips or tricks to fix this problem or hear what other individuals have dealt with is greatly appreciated! Cheers |
