Lowered springs or rims?

I love my x3. Just wondering if anyone lowered their car tad bit (not like gangster style) but just tad bit too look more sportier. And will this void warranty?

Might do this after warrany expires.

Or if there is a thread for mods people did with photos that would be great (spoilers, side skirts, diffusers).. I did find some via search but couldn't find one that is active

If I put a m logo in back of car and not a m car is that like forbidden lol. I just like the logo and even the car isn't it adds some color etc to the back . I don't mind if a m40i rolls behind me and maybe chuckles. I'll just give him/her peace sign

Lowered on H&Rs and went with 22" wheels. I'll not be tuning it until I'm out of warranty, but for the cosmetic stuff and mild drop I wouldn't sweat it much...

I would like to do something like this on my upcoming MY20 X4. Can you comment on the impact on ride quality?

Ride quality was not impacted at all. In fact, I have myself convinced it rides better than stock. The 22" tires are non run-flat, and I'm sure that helps, but I am beyond impressed with the springs. Others have stated that the H&R's get too soft after several thousand miles. I have around 6k on these and they feel great. Compliant when they need to be and also very composed under spirited driving.

That looks great!. Was hoping more side, front and back photos (pretty please )

So the rims thats stock is 19 inch wheels? I don't remember

If it's 22 inch wheels and lowered springs seems it lowered tad bid only right so is that why you opted for higher inch wheel?

I don't want it too lowered but looks great here. Only issue is those areas where you par and didn't see that the front curb scrapes your bumper. The stock springs clears it fine always since higher up.

How much were the springs and where did you get em? I always heard eibach springs were good back in hayday

Mine is not lowered, but I have 21" 275/30/R21 tires and wide rims currently installed that make it look lower.

(Not fully sold on the look).

Here is my post:
