It’s a serious beast. Actually much quicker off the line than the Giulia QV. With that said, the Giulia QV still sets the bar for ride and handling between those two though.

Congrats on the new ride. The more you drive it, the more you will like it. There is just something special about the way Alfas drive...even the base models.

Compared to what? On my Giulia, I’ve only needed one scheduled oil change through 17k miles. There is a comprehensive service at 30k miles, but that is no different than other brands. Have had an amazing ownership experience so far over the past 26 months.

Sorry, don’t take videos. Only pics. Hoping to get all four in a nice family pic when they are all freshly detailed in a couple of weeks. Having Alfi is hard to juggle. First World problem.

If you haven't driven a Quadrifoglio (Giulia or Stelvio) for an extended test drive (more than a 4 mile beat) then try one out. It is a hell of car. Sort of like merging an M3 with an RS5 taking the best attributes from each...except for the infotainment, but even there, I actually prefer simplicity to complexity because cars are like...for driving!

The Alfa Stelvio Quadrifoglio vs. BMW X3M vs. AMG GLC63 vs. Jaguar F Pace SVR vs. Porsche Macan Turbo Performance Pack comparison tests are going to be epic. Great time to be alive!
I bet we know each other from another forum

I have Giulia QV CCM and Sparco everything you can ask for. I would agree that anyone not taking advantage of the perception reality thing is missing out. The QV has been a complete joy our servicing dealer has been great and the way the car drives is amazing. We did forgo the Stelvio QV for the 2019 X5 50i (sorry just couldn't go for the 40i after the 505 hp) but I can say we are really enjoying the new X5. It has a ton of power but is no sedan. The Stelvio QV is a rocket but personally I think rockets belong in coupes and sedans. I would recommend just to make sure you can say you tried them both to test drive the QV version. It isn't always about the spec. At least on the QV Giulia it is so precise but yet graceful and dial it up the subtle sedan turns into a monster. It is also quite fun since no one really knows what it is. Very nice exhaust note with a forza bypass controller in all modes. It is nice having a few different brands. Now it is a MINI a new X5 and a QV. All over the map.

By the way are still looking at the 4C used now. The QV is Rosso Tri-coat as well but with dark Tecnico. Alfa would have had a better shot had the larger SUV been released but couldn't wait. Very happy with the X5 50i. I can't even imagine and X5M. Almost silly in that size of car. The X3M makes a lot more sense. The X5 50 is 4.4 I think so no slouch however those smaller sport crossovers are a heck of a lot of fun but it is also nice to jump into entirely different driving experiences in different brands. What do I feel like driving today??? We really do need that 4C. Love the Stelvio QV or the X3M though

The 4C Spider is the perfect companion to the Stelvio QV. Registered mine a week ago and drove it over 500 miles in 3.5 days. Absolutely addictive car. I bet some of the more hard core M crowd would even enjoy it. Super lightweight, no power steering, firm brakes, flat body control...all business. Mine has the factory titanium Akrapovic Exhaust option and it sounds amazing in Race and Dynamic modes.

That exhaust is a must. There is a new one locally 2018 as well. With the Spirit being the last run I think they are running up the price. We made the list of 15 to buy the Spirit (okay having a numbered car is bragging rights). We got the Alfa email then contacted 2 of the dealerships that each received 1 of the 15 (CA & TX). So far no call back. Still waiting. My guess is they are going to get a bidding war going and there are actually more than 15 or they are waiting o delivery first. In any case we are in a holding pattern. Personally I would rather have red but spouse is oogling for Misano. We were able to take one on an extended test drive. It is wonky and zero visibility but my god it is pure beauty. Honestly stunning. Anyone is a 10 driving that car.

I love that pic. I don't care what anyone says that car is a stunner. It could be broken down on the side of the road and I would still love it. BTW. It is so light you could probably carry it home. What 90% Carbon Fiber

This is the reason the X3M and Stelvio QV were out of the running. They seem to find the X5's ride very nice. I hope one day they come back with a rear window that opens.

In the UK as standard they now have

5 year warranty (handy this is Alfa)
3 years servicing
3 years roadside recovery (no comment )

Quite a good package to be fair, the service element is great. Their PCP/Lease rates however are always terrible versus a similar prices German anything. Seems the residuals cannot yet shake of their reputation.
