2014 X3 Hatch Adjustment

Our wonderful 2014 X3 has had numerous electric rear hatch parts replaced. This includes both struts, latch, electric motor, and electric strike/lock. The problem is that it slams shut too hard. The local BMW service claims that there is no adjustability. To that sounds most unlike BMW. Is there a way to adjust it so that it closes softer? Can the downward travel it closes be adjusted? Thanks.

I adjusted mine via coding to slow the closing speed down toward the end of its travel. I doubt a dealer would make make a coding adjustment. Check my thread here for details.
