ian_poff Registered 0 Rep 1 Posts Drives: bmw X3 (E83) Join Date: Dec 2023 Location: columbus OHIO iTrader: (0)	can I n54 swap a E83 and get rid of the M54 Hello all! this is a question that has been in my head for a while recently, i was wondering if I could do a N54 swap on the E83 chassis I want to get more power without spending an ungodly amount of money on a turbo kit or any other mods I am also wondering if it could bolt up to my xdrive system and transmission as a whole or would i need to replace the transmission with a n54 transmission too. If you have any advice or knowledge please feel free to share!
